CEO and founder at BIMLauncher, John Egan has submitted an industry talk to present at Autodesk University in New Orleans, this September 2022.
The title of the talk is Increasing project performance by automating workflows in/out of ACC, and a synopsis, as follows:
Working with teams outside the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform requires tedious and non rewarding manual download/upload and double data entry tasks to keep everyone in sync. These manual workflows negatively impact a projects performance resulting in poor communication between teams, reduced data quality and a decreased productivity. Automating delivery, quality checking and tracking mean information can be processed without delays, errors or omissions resulting in a positive ROI for project teams and more time for construction.
This talk will demonstrate how BIMLauncher provides a scalable solution for automating workflows in/out of the ACC platform that can be used on your projects today, including how to automate transmittals to owner/client teams working outside of the ACC platform, and how to ensure site teams have the most up to date data available to them within ACC when working with design/owner/client teams outside of the ACC platform.
Learning outcomes and more information about the talk can be viewed on the Autodesk University website.
